COUNTY YEAR BOOKS 2007

A survey of this year’s county year books reveals some intriguing vagaries of pricing in relation to volume. However, not all of the 18 publications conform to the traditional dimensions of 23 x 33cm. Derbyshire have introduced an A4 magazine format and it is excellent value, with all the standard contents covering each domestic competition (reviews, full scores, statistics), plus a host of colour photographs. Yorkshire continues to produce the only hard-back county annual with a 16 x 25cm format. Glamorgan have taken their year book into higher technology and, in addition to the printed copy, have produced an alternative version on a CD ROM (£2) and it is also available on line from the Club’s website.

Copies can be purchased direct from the county headquarters, the addresses of which can be found on their websites or in Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack and Playfair Cricket Annual. Copies can be purchased at the respective county grounds. Please add £2 to cover packing and postage (£6 including recorded delivery for Yorkshire’s).
